7 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2019

The men’s Money in the Bank match was humming along really well, turning into one of the better editions we’ve seen in recent years…

And then Brock Lesnar’s music hit.

After seven men killed each other in the ring for nearly 20 minutes, Lesnar simply sauntered out, climbed a ladder and claimed the MITB briefcase, despite not being in the match at the beginning.

What. The. Actual. Hell. Better yet… Screw. You. Vince. McMahon.

TV ratings are down, so let’s book the guy who doesn’t wrestle on TV to win MITB so he can hold onto the briefcase for the next 11 months, maybe showing up at the occasional PPV.

This entire thing was an insult to the seven men who busted their asses throughout the match, to the fans in attendance who wanted to see someone interesting win the match, and to anyone with good sensibilities who sees this for what it was: a desperate play by an increasingly desperate chairman.
