5. Lars Destroys Luchadores

Look, if WWE is going to consider Lars Sullivan’s apology and fine as sufficient punishment, then so be it, but the optics of the past week or so hasn’t been kind to the Freak.

Sullivan’s past racist, sexist, homophobic and just generally hateful comments resurfaced once again, prompting WWE to fine him and order him to undergo sensitivity training. But then, just days later, Lars was right out there on PPV Sunday night, demolishing three luchadores, Lucha House Party.

Considering some of his past remarks targeted Hispanics, maybe WWE could have waited a week or two before having him demolish the luchadores. We’re not even a week past Lars being reprimanded.

It’s hypocritical to condemn, fine and require training for his past actions, and then reward him with a push that has seen him attack R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and the Singh Brothers, among others, and then add Lucha House Party to the list.
