The 15-time WWE champ is a performer who has been booked so strongly that he hasnt submitted in over a decade, long before he became the man the fans derisively refer to as Super Cena. Even though hes pretty much bulletproof at this point in his career, his losses have had little consequence. He usually just shrugs it off and moves on to the next match. The mere thought of the character slapping his hand on the mat in order to escape his opponent is unfathomable, and something few would expect. So do it. Imagine the visual of Cena trapped in the kimura, arm bent behind his body, his blood-streaked face a mask of agony a la Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13, while Paul Heyman taunts him from ringside waving his towel in his face and sarcastically cheering for him to Never Give Up. It would be a classic moment that fans would remember for years, and another unexpected ending to go along with Lesnars two most recent victories. And theres no better way to make the statement that John Cenas time as the all-conquering hero has passed and the era of new blood is beginning than having the hero do the unthinkable and say I quit. What do you think of these ideas? Would this help build your interest for the upcoming rematch? Let us know in the comments.
