How do you make a segment worse than the Old Day? Simple: you completely emasculate a babyface in an unfunny, awkward, overlong segment that tries to ape the success of a segment that wasn’t even that good in the first place.

For her match at Extreme Rules with Bayley this year, Alexa Bliss decided the best course of action to play mind games with her opponent was to put on a terrible segment with community theater actors in which they constantly reiterate that Bayley is in love with her dad or some garbage like that.

Either way, instead of making Alexa look like a scoundrel, it made WWE look like dullards, as the crowd chanted “what” and “this is boring” at the ordeal. It certainly did no favors for Bayley, who was already suffering from the indignity of a hometown loss. Now, the implication was that she was a loser for wanting to watch RAW and SmackDown instead of going to the mall or kissing boys (a great message to send to your fans who likely watch RAW and SmackDown, by the way).
