7 Ways Modern WWE Heels Created 'Bad' Heat

3. The Old Day

It’s never a good day at the office when “cringe” is the word most associated with your work. Last year, Gallows and Anderson, at the time feuding with the New Day, came out and delivered the worst segment of 2016: the Old Day.

For seemingly no reason, the Good Brothers wheeled out actors in old age makeup pretending to be geriatric version of the New Day. What followed was an eternity of unfunny and embarrassing that surely only Vince McMahon would find hilarious. I mean, I hope Vince found it funny, because otherwise, this segment gave literally no one any joy.

Needless to say, this did not generate any heat for the Club’s feud with the New Day, and it only contributed to the sentiment among hardcore fans that Gallows and Anderson are being wasted in WWE.
