The major advantage to bringing Rocky back is obviously his star power. And that star power could give a huge rub to WWE's developmental group, NXT. The men and women of NXT are working very hard to eventually make an impact on WWE's main roster. They are doing everything they can to entertain and that work is definitely paying off. The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Cesaro and Big E have all transitioned exceptionally well to TV. And there is more to come. Adam Rose and Bo Dallas have each just debuted. Sami Zayn, The Ascension, Tyler Breeze and Adrian Neville are all waiting in the wings and there is more to come. WWE is on the right track with their talent as fans are surely seeing the future whenever they tune into NXT. But what if they saw The Rock on NXT? Assuming Rocky comes back to the fold this year, he should definitely be utilized on NXT. Not only would some words from The Great One benefit the NXT locker room, they would also bring more eyes to the WWE Network. The Rock's stamp of approval on WWE's next generation would be huge for the company and it would only be more publicity for NXT's state of the art facility. It's a win win scenario on every level.
