From the moment Triple H and Stephanie McMahon formed The Authority in 2013, WWE has been under siege. What supposedly began as a desire to do what's best for business instead became a way to rule the company through fear and intimidation. The Authority became the new corporate heel faction and Triple H essentially became the new Mr. McMahon. From strong-arming The Big Show, to humiliating the Rhodes family to holding down Daniel Bryan, The Authority did everything in their power to get their way. And they usually did. But nothing lasts forever and in the case of The Authority, sooner or later it will come to an end. And maybe The Rock should be the one to end it. The Rock's return could center on destroying The Authority. He would be seen as the conquering hero, the protagonist that came back and tore the top heel faction down piece by piece. His storyline could include other Superstars like Bryan and John Cena. It would become the company's number one angle of the late year and it would propel The Rock back to the top. It would also provide some real drama for WWE and that's what it's all about.
