7 Ways To Make Sure Dean Ambrose Is A Successful WWE Champion

2. Keep Him Away From The Authority

This one may be more wishful thinking than anything else, but what sort of world would we live in if one wasn't encouraged to dream? We've not seen much of Triple H since WrestleMania 32, and Stephanie McMahon has been somewhat preoccupied with the McMahon family saga that inexplicably dominates our WWE programming almost 20 years after it began.

Luckily this has meant that aside from making matches, The Authority has been absent from the world title picture. One sure-fire way to drag Ambrose's title reign down is to get Hunter and Steph involved, something that seems somewhat inevitable considering their interactions with the Lunatic Fringe in the past.

So WWE, I beg of you, leave the title scene to the wrestlers. The three men currently at the top of the active card are also the three new stars WWE has made in recent times, three men with well-documented history with each other and a plethora of interesting stories to tell.

Treating Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins as pawns in the Authority's game makes them look, for want of a better phrase, like chumps.

You have a new, exciting champion, and you also have two top challengers that immediately have an emotional connection to that champion. There's simply no need for the McMahons to be involved.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
