Since appearing in the film The Marine in 2006, John Cena's character has involved a liberal dose of pro-American and pro-American military support. After starring in The Marine, Cena's worn military dog tags, saluted the ring, and also had a gun corps salute as part of his Wrestlemania entrance. As well, count Cena's 2015 run with the United States Championship among his American-based moments in his career and it's been quite the pro-US decade for the "face of WWE."
