7 Ways WWE Can Reintroduce The Hardy Boyz

6. RAW - To Turn The New Day Heel

The New Day are the sort of characters almost guaranteed to get a certain amount of support whether they are aligned as heels or faces, but it is difficult to deny that the act was a whole lot more palatable when Kingston, Woods and E. were bad guys as opposed to good. As good guys they tend to irritate and humiliate, whereas their heel run saw them become a legitimate force at the top of the card.

As of right now, The New Day are just treading water in the middle of the card, doing nothing of meaning besides pinning Jinder Mahal and being Vince McMahon's go-to when some trending matter needs to be parodied in an awful manner. The return of Matt and Jeff Hardy to Monday Night RAW could well be the shot in the arm the former two-time champs need.

It could also be the impetus that the flagship show's tag team division sorely needs. The obsession with New Day breaking Demolition's record put the division in a stasis that it is struggling to snap out of, and the return of the former six-time WWE (and one time WCW) tag champions could light a fire under a number of duos.

A Hardys/New Day feud could ignite the trio - who have ran out of gas - and immediately put the returning brothers on a high level in the eyes of newer members of the WWE Universe.
