SmackDown Live's tag team division isn't exactly in any better shape than that of RAW. American Alpha are one of the best teams in the entire company, and The Usos have reinvigorated their career following their heel turn. But outside of those two teams, there ain't whole lot else. Who is next in the pecking order? Heath Slater & Rhyno? The Ascension?

The SmackDown Live tag team division could hugely benefit from the injection of star power that Matt and Jeff Hardy would provide. All of the potential matches in front of the brothers are fresh, and Team Xtreme could act as a great summer feud for either Alpha or The Usos, depending on who holds the blue belts following WrestleMania 33.

Since the return of the WWE draft, RAW has clearly had the better deal when it comes to big name arrivals, with Goldberg, The Undertaker, Samoa Joe, Bayley and more arriving on the red brand in the months since. In that same time, SmackDown Live has received Luke Harper, Mickie James, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Curt Hawkins and James Ellsworth. Sure, two of the RAW arrivals aren't going to be around too often, but the star power is undeniable.

The Hardys could be a valuable addition to the SmackDown Live roster, either as singles competitors or as a team.
