7 Ways WWE Stars Can Respond To Vince McMahon's Negativity

7. Quit World Wrestling Entertainment

Vince McMahon very clearly sees World Wrestling Entertainment as a company filled with wrestlers who are underwhelming in the face of what he feels are numerous opportunities to improve their star status. However, in saying that he feels that very few will ever eclipse the star of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and other Attitude Era performers, it may be best for those wrestlers that feel constrained by that pressure to quit the company while they're still theoretically ahead (and likely also able to get high-profile bookings in other professional wrestling organizations). The idea that McMahon is hamstrung by the idea that replicating the "Attitude Era" is possible should certainly be discussed. As well, one can also argue that the professional wrestling industry in the current era is an industry that has passed by the WWE chairman, too. This podcast appearance may have done more to showcase these points than anything else the WWE chairman has said as of late.
