7 Ways WWE Stars Can Respond To Vince McMahon's Negativity

6. Act As Though Nothing Is Wrong

So, Vince McMahon is perturbed about his company. There's a point to be made that Vince McMahon is ALWAYS annoyed about something in WWE, so his grievances aired on Steve Austin's podcast are really nothing special/new. As well, if a talent were to come along and challenge McMahon's view (like The Kliq did to spur the Attitude Era), one would believe that the aggrieved wrestler(s) wouldn't just want to wrestle themselves, but possibly a non-"squeaky wheel," too. A rising tide lifts all boats, even those where the captain isn't waving his arms begging to be helped. Ultimately, true talent rises to the top. If concerned about Cesaro for instance, (as Austin seems to be), if he were to continue to have solid matches and positively engage the crowd as he has, it's entirely possible that if/when McMahon decides to change course (which may be likely) that Cesaro's the exact type of performer who could benefit. At the end of the day, the word on the marquee is "wrestling," and if those who excel at that (above all other skills) continue to just have great matches, it could be more than enough.
