7 Women Who Left WWE Because Of Their Wrestling Partners
4. Sable
Sable was without a doubt one of the most popular fixtures of the entire Attiude Era, male or female. Her only accomplishment inside the ring, winning the Women's Championship, is actually one of her least memorable moments. Whether she was standing up for what she believed in or just wearing something revealing, she always knew how to captivate a crowd.
However, she left WWE on less-than-stellar terms in 1999 before resurfacing in 2003 on the SmackDown brand. Despite still being insanely attractive, she didn't quite make the same impact as she had years earlier. But if there was any one good thing to come out of her second stint with the company, it was her relationship with Brock Lesnar.
The two met during their time on SmackDown together. Shortly after, Lesnar left WWE because of his desire to explore other endeavors (and because the travel was terrible). Sable gave her notice as well, and was granted her release from the organization. They announced their engagement later on in 2004 before getting married in 2006, and are still together to this day.
Her second run with WWE was far from memorable, but a lifelong partnership did ensue as a result of her return, so it wasn't entirely unsuccessful after all.
