Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella were an on-air couple for a few months in late 2010 through early 2011. Although their onscreen relationship came to an abrupt end around Valentine's Day, what most fans didn't know was that they continued to date behind the scenes, even when the Bellas left the company for nearly a year in 2012.

Their relationship became public knowledge following the debut of Total Divas in mid-2013, which largely profiled their time together outside of the ring. Bryan proposing to Brie was caught on camera in Season 1 with the two happily getting married the following spring days after WrestleMania XXX.

Unlike most couples, due to Bryan's unbridled love for the industry, they returned to wrestling immediately after their honeymoon was over and continued to compete for WWE. They have been apart more than they have been together in the past two years, however, as a result of Bryan's various injuries that ultimately cost him his career while Brie remained on the road.

When Bryan announced his heartbreaking retirement from the ring in February 2016, it was apparent Brie wouldn't be around for much longer. She wrestled her final match at WrestleMania 32, winning on the Kickoff show, and quitely called it a career shortly thereafter to focus on starting a family with Bryan.
