The Cruiserweight Championship has had a rough ride, hasn't it? Well, I guess all three champions featured in this article had more charisma than TJ Perkins at least. Madusa was the first female to win the junior heavyweight title, and the most recent addition to that list of three was none other than WWE Hall of Famer, Jacqueline. In doing so, Jacqueline became the only female to do so under the WWE banner.

Jacqueline defeated Chavo Guerrero for the championship in May 2004, as the over-confident champion issued an open challenge and subsequently failed to take Jackie's challenge particularly seriously. Whilst Jacqueline could more than hold her own, Chavo swiftly won the title back at Judgment Day 2004.

Chavo also had a hand tied behind his back during this match, although the meddling of Chavo Classic had as much to do with Chavo's win as anything else. One month after winning and losing the title, Jacqueline was released.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
