7 Women WWE Should Put In Hall Of Fame

2. Sable

The most popular woman in WWE during the Attitude Era was Sable. It wasn't always supposed to be that way because she was originally recognized by WWE as the wife of Marc Mero in the 1990s. When they saw how beautiful she was, they put her with Triple H as a valet at the start and then they put her with Mero. Since Mero wasn't getting over on his own, WWE figured if they put more of the spotlight on Sable she could be a big deal. They were right. Sable exploded as a huge star in 1998 when WWE started to put her in the ring more while also booking a rift between her and Mero. He turned into an egotistical heel that was jealous that the crowd loved looking at his wife, who had no problem showing off her body. Her hand print "bikini" is legendary and she was also was booked as a serious wrestler after they put the Women's Title on her. Whenever she was on TV in the Attitude Era, the ratings went up. She was a huge deal. A Playboy cover raised her stock even more although she left the company in mid-1999 due to being unhappy. Her second WWE run in 2003-04 was a bit of a shock because she actually sued WWE after her departure in 1999, but apparently things were fine. Her main storyline was as the mistress of Vince McMahon, which was a big deal at the time although that story fizzled out. The most significant thing she did in that period was she met her future husband, Brock Lesnar. Sable married Lesnar is 2006 and they have two sons together in addition to children they each had from previous relationships. She appeared with him at some of his UFC fights just there to support him, but she hasn't been seen on WWE TV since 2004. Apparently she travels with Lesnar on a lot of his WWE appearances too, so she's around. Why isn't she in the Hall of Fame yet? It's a question we don't have an answer to. It would seem like a good time to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame since her husband is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as well as a headliner at WrestleMania. Perhaps WWE doesn't want to show the softer side of Lesnar since he likes to keep a low profile. If he stays in the company and works as babyface then they might do it next year. She seems like a lock to go into the Hall of Fame in the very near future. It could even be 2015.
