7 Women WWE Should Put In Hall Of Fame

1. Miss Elizabeth

The term "diva" wasn't used in WWE until the mid-1990s when the marketing geniuses at WWE realize they don't want to call their women by a generic name like that, so they trademarked the word diva. Sunny and Sable were the divas that they pushed as the women that the male fans wanted to be with. However, Elizabeth trumped them all by filling that role a decade before them. "Macho Man" Randy Savage brought out his wife Elizabeth as his manager to help him look like a bigger star. It worked perfectly. When Savage was a heel, he was easy to hate because he was mean to her when he would tell her to stand in the corner and do nothing. When he was a face, her elegance made him likable because she was easy on the eyes and a calming influence on him. Their on screen breakup in 1989 was sad, but the reunion at WrestleMania 7 was an amazing emotional rollercoaster that led to the TV wedding in 1991 (they were already married), which is something that fans from that era will never forget. Even though Liz wasn't a wrestler, she might be the most memorable WWE woman ever just because she was around during the biggest growth of WWE and we will never forget her. When she went to WCW in the mid-1990s it was definitely a surprise. It actually looked like she got hotter since she was showing a bit more of her body and she upgraded certain parts as well. Sadly, she passed away in May of 2003 due to a drug overdose. Out of all the women in the history of wrestling, she deserves a Hall of Fame induction as much as any of them. For whatever reason, WWE has shied away from doing it. Perhaps they don't want to put in a deceased woman that died of a drug overdose, but they should. Accidents happen. People are sad that she died in such a tragic way. Let's honor her memory the right way. It seems like the right year to put Elizabeth in the Hall of Fame since the man she was most associated with is going in this year as well.
