7 Worst Wrestling Moments Of The Week (June 11)

3. The Machine Needs Some Maintenance

Where did the mighty WWE machine for Jinder Mahal go this past week?

On the episode of SmackDown after his big win, they went all in on his celebration ceremony. It was actually kind of fun! Well, until Jinder actually talked. Before that was good though. A few weeks later, it seems the company has already pulled back on his push. In the long-run, this is fine. The Maharaja is unlikely to ever become a top star. Right now, though, they should at least keep pretending he's a big deal.

On SmackDown, he finally got his Mojo Rawley rematch. Since 'Mania, Mojo hasn't done much of note except babysit children overseas. Seems like a quick job from him was in order. But they still went out of their way to protect the guy!

So Jinder can beat Randy Orton and A.J. Styles with some help, but they won't give him a clean victory over a guy who wears neon trunks? If they're going to get him over, he's going to need a little bit of credibility. It's starting to feel like that's not going to happen. He may as well just hand the title to John Cena on his return for America's birthday and get it over with.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
