Despite my propensity to complain, I can actually buy into quite a bit of nonsense! Hell, I’ve been a mark for Fandango since day one (I still miss his original dancing partner). But WWE has a merciless habit of striking on something good and then quickly running said good thing into the ground until no one wants to see it again. I’m fearing this is going to be the case with Breezango in about 3-to-5 weeks. 7 tops.

The Fashion Files noir segment on SmackDown may have been the strongest one yet, with the clever gag of their voiceovers suddenly leading to shared telepathy. Both guys are good in their roles and the fans seem to be digging it, but the matches themselves are just too damn goofy to be sustainable. How do you reach any level of normalcy once you introduce multiple costume changes and squirt guns into your regular act?

People look back on Team Hell No fondly, but WWE ran that thing into the ground far quicker than they should have (even if it did work out long-term for Daniel Bryan’s character). It was hilarious at first, but again, something so over-the-top and overexposed is bound to burn out quickly. I hope I’m wrong with Fandango and Breeze. Unfortunately, Vince McMahon has shown he has very little self-control when it comes to his pet comedy projects.

Maybe let's start with ditching the squirt guns for now?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
