7 Worst Wrestling Moments Of The Week (March 19)

5. About That Window...

Shane McMahon
WWE

WWE can’t just leave a good thing alone.

Even though I just crapped all over Shane being cast as the baddest middle aged dad on the planet (next to Goldberg, Undertaker and Triple H of course...basically everyone that really matters in WWE), the initial brawl was actually pretty good. They tried to make it look realistic by showing Shane bleeding, which isn't something they do often. If they’re going to give us this Mania match, that was a pretty good start. Then they replayed it, and it became all so stupid.

Basically, there should have been one angle from the attack. Otherwise it opens up too many questions.

The only way that footage could exist is if A.J. bought a camera in advance, brought it to the arena, knew exactly which side of the vehicle Shane was going to walk out of, and installed the camera into the backseat of the car he knew he was going to throw his boss's head through. IT’S SO STUPID! Even if the shot was cool, it’s not worth it. Because the reaction to seeing it isn’t “Radical!”, it’s “Wait...how the hell did they get that footage? Is A.J. going to get his camera back?”

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
