7. Give Brooke A Chance

All right, Dana Brooke is never going to be the next Trish Stratus or Wendi Richter. She may not even be the next Brooke Hogan, but she's someone who received quite a bit of screen time on Raw over the past year, so all that investment should have paid off in some form when she broke away from Charlotte.

Last week the fans actually popped for her turning on her tormentor. That could have been the start of a little storyline. And you know what? It may not have been very good. However, even a brief Charlotte/Dana feud would have accomplished something important, and that's separating Charlotte from Bayley and Sasha Banks for a bit.

The former Queen of pay-per-views has done nothing but feud with Banks and Bayley for many, many months. It's played out. Go to Wikipedia, and there a whopping nine women total on the Raw women's roster. Subtract three due to injuries, and you're left with the four upcoming WrestleMania competitors and Alicia Fox and Brooke. That's it. WWE just told us that Brooke doesn't matter. So what now? Fox and Charlotte feuding over Noam Dar?

Again, Dana will likely never be a top star, but squashing her so effectively means WWE got rid of a short-term viable option to at least make the show a little fresher. Now that's gone. As exciting as the Women's Revolution initially was, another year of Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Charlotte in any form isn't a very exciting prospect to look forward to. Oh yeah...Emma too. But she won't be back until the third quarter of 2018, so no worries there.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
