7 Worst Wrestling Moments Of The Week (March 26)

2. Double The Bellas, Two Times Less The Fun

I’m of the mind that if you’re a professional wrestler, and you can’t land a single punch against your opponent, then you really don’t serve a purpose. You’re positioned as someone who doesn’t matter, therefore having that character on TV is a waste of everyone’s time.

Would it have killed WWE to have given Fandango a couple of kicks of offense against John Cena? How about a bodyslam? Even a back rake would have sufficed.

If this was the end of Tyler Breeze and Fandango as characters, then fine, go for needless cross dressing humor on the way out and wish them the best in their future endeavors. But this isn’t the end. Within the next few weeks, they’ll be on TV and competing in meaningless tag matches that last longer than 30 seconds. But having their opponents struggle to put them away in any form makes them look weak, because we've been shown Nikki Bella can destroy Breeze in five seconds.

Again, there just isn’t enough people in WWE for them to kill off regular acts so effectively.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
