7 Worst WWE Drafts In History

5. 2010 WWE Draft

WWE Draft 2011

If somebody were to have walked up to you in 2010 and said there would be another draft, who would you expect to go first overall? John Cena? Triple H? Maybe CM Punk?

All of those guesses would be wrong because we were given Kelly Kelly as the first overall pick. Granted, WWE switched to using a "computer-generated" system that would "randomly" assign superstars to new brands. The Titantron ('member those?) would flash with all the different available superstars and stop as if a sort of WWE version of Press Your Luck.

But even with these changes in mind, we all know the way this business works. Everything is decided beforehand, and no disrespect to Kelly Kelly, but she had yet to even win a title in WWE. She was more known for stripping segments at that point in her career than she was wrestling. It was a classic "WWE surprise" where it was indeed surprising, but completely unsatisfying.

Another short draft as well (a running theme for this list), this only changed 19 superstars' brand. Once again, no teams were split, preventing any shock moments such as the Dudleys' separation in 2002.

The ratings spoke for themselves this year. This draft did little to change declining numbers across the shows.

Weird, almost like you need to deliver on the hype that a draft brings with it...
