WWE Fastlane was a good wrestling show, but it wasn't necessarily the explosive narrative production that WWE needed. It was a collection of straight forward results, with many of the matches feeling more like Raw bookings. What did deliver was the main event, an excellent contest, with Brock Lesnar in particular looking absolutely fantastic. While the debate about Roman Reigns will continue to rumble, the match itself should be remembered favourably. With Fastlane now out of of the way, WWE are just weeks from WrestleMania, with the April 3 card looking like it is almost fully booked. There's still a few mysteries, The Undertaker's match being the big one, but Fastlane established most of the other big bouts. Many of the matches established aren't exactly thrilling, and the narrative is looking underdeveloped in places, but WWE still have time to turn things around in the coming weeks. Raw and The March To WrestleMania house show special can hopefully illuminate the so far drab Mania season. Fastlane has established the Mania matches, but the company are still some way off making them feel big. Here's what Fastlane did do for the Mania card, with the seven matches fans can expect on April 3.
