7 Wrestlers Who Could Anchor WWE's New Cruiserweight Division

7. Chris Sabin

Chris Sabin If you ever watched TNA Wrestling in the last 12 years then you know who Chris Sabin is. If you completely avoided everything TNA during that time then you might be wondering why he'd be a good fit. It's because Sabin is one of those guys that can have great matches with anybody, he's a very athletic wrestler and he's solid on the microphone when given a chance too. Sabin has talked about wanting to work for WWE one day. Back in August, he did an interview with the Shining Wizards podcast talking about it: "My goal is to wrestle for WWE. That's been my goal since I was a little kid. I have always wanted to work for that specific company. I wouldn't say that I'm not successful. I wouldn't say that because I haven't worked there I'm not successful. I've been very successful and very lucky." He's not in TNA anymore and he doesn't work for Ring of Honor. He's a free agent likely because he wants WWE to know he's ready to come in if they give him a shot. It also wouldn't be a bad idea if WWE brought in his former Motor City Machine Guns partner Alex Shelley either. They're awesome together. Sabin is 32 years old. Not too young and not too old. He's at the right time in his career for WWE to bring him in. Hopefully it happens because if it does he could be a great Cruiserweight performer for them.
