7 Wrestlers Who Hated Their Own Theme Songs

7. Shelton Benjamin

It's Shelty B.

On Twitter, Shelton revealed that he's no fan of his current entrance theme 'Set It Off'. The track, which starts with a quick blast straight out of GarageBand's loop library, eventually becomes the kind of song you'd expect to hear accompany a Diva Search contestant to the ring 15 years ago. It's not, 'Ain't No Stoppin' Me Now', that's for sure.

It's no wonder Benjamin doesn't like it. The song doesn't capture his veteran status or sound menacing in the slightest. It's total half-arsed background music at best; saying that, it'd probably work for somebody else, just not a wrestler like Shelton. He needs a more threatening sound than this to back up his swish skills between the ropes.

For a guy who was once called the 'Gold Standard', this is p*ss poor fare. He must cringe every time his music hits at house shows and he has to brave face the genericism.
