7 Wrestlers Who Hated Their Own Theme Songs

5. MVP

Up until now, we've agreed that the songs chosen for Shelton Benjamin and Kaitlyn were horrible, but we can't see eye-to-eye with Montel Vontavious Porter here. "I'm Comin" was a total tune, and it fit his big-balled, flashy sports megastar gimmick to a tee. Sorry, MVP.

Everything, from the clock ticking intro to the quick blast of the song's title, worked a treat. Porter didn't feel the same way though, and he said during a 2018 interview with Chris Van Vliet that he had to pretend to like it so he didn't irk Vince McMahon. That had to be soul-destroying for somebody who dreamed about hitting the big time.

Imagine the predicament MVP was in when McMahon called him out in the arena, demanded the production staff play it over the arena PA and then "unrhythmically" started jiving along like the coolest cat in the room. After that, all Montel could say was that he liked the song. What else was he gonna' say?

On this occasion, Vinnie Mac was right.
