7 Wrestlers Who Really Didn’t Get Paid By The Hour

2. The Great Khali

Has The Great Khali ever looked stable on those legs? Perhaps weak knees are the reason he never worked longer matches, but then a giant such as Khali was able to fall back on intimidating size and an organically scary presence to become World Champion in WWE. Had he been able to bounce around the ring, he probably wouldn't have chosen to do so anyway.

It's hard to name one legitimately good Great Khali match. Actual wrestling was not his strong suit, the big Indian being more about freakish stature than anything else. On that note, it's also difficult to name more than a handful of Khali matches that went longer than 7-8 minutes, especially towards the end of his run.

Khali wasn't there to put on a clinic, he was there to look like a circus attraction, deliver a few power moves, pin someone, and then stroll off into the distance. Had he been paid for the hours he actually worked, then The Great Khali would be a very poor man.
