7 Wrestlers Who Should Leave WWE For The Indies
3. Chad Gable
Let us now sing the lamentations of Chad Gable. Originally, he and Jason Jordan were an extremely gifted babyface tag team utilizing their amateur wrestling backgrounds to become a modern-day Steiner Brothers. Winning the NXT Tag Team Championships and the hearts of fans, they really were one of the Performance Center's biggest success stories.
Come July of 2016, and American Alpha were set to run the table of SmackDown's tag division. That didn't pan out however, and a year later, Jason Jordan was shipped to RAW as Kurt Angle's son. Since then, Gable has been almost entirely directionless. Save for his brief alliance with Shelton Benjamin on SmackDown, Gable has had nothing going for him, especially since moving to RAW. It's clear that despite being one of the most gifted wrestlers on the roster with a huge upside, WWE don't value his small stature.
The independents don't really care if you're not over six feet, and with PWG and New Japan putting on classic after classic, Gable could learn and get even better being in environments that value his gifts. Don't let your size get you down, Chad. Go somewhere you'll be treated... like a Chad.
