7 Wrestlers Who Should Leave WWE For The Indies
2. The Revival
Hours after writing this article, The Revival challenged The B-Team for the RAW Tag Team Championships on the SummerSlam kickoff show - and failed. I can say with total sincerity that it didn't matter either way whether Dash and Dawson won those worthless belts. For one thing, RAW's tag team division is a barren wasteland of freaks and geeks, so being King of the Geeks is hardly an accolade. Secondly, it wouldn't change anything about The Revival's stagnant main roster run.
Whether it's been injuries or Vince McMahon not appreciating tag team specialists, the decline in prominence for the Revival since their call-up from NXT has been sharp and disheartening. At one point, most people considered them the best tag team in the world. That may still be the case, but good luck ever seeing them utilized in a way where they can show it off.
With the Young Bucks tweeting "F*ck The Revival" being their biggest brush with popularity, it's high time Dash and Dawson capitalize on the booming indie wrestling world. From the Bucks to the Best Friends to the Briscoes, there's not a shortage of indie tag teams these guys can have classics with.
