7 Wrestlers Who Should Leave WWE For The Indies

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura failed to win the WWE Championship after multiple attempts against AJ Styles. I'm not going to say that was the wrong call, since AJ is exactly the kind of champion WWE needs, and he deserves to have a long reign. However, it was clear from the moment his match at Money in the Bank ended, the "King of Strong Style" hit his ceiling.

It's been a real up and down run for Shinsuke Nakamura. Despite being a two-time NXT champion, current US Champion, and winner of this year's Royal Rumble, most everyone agrees something's been missing. When he came into the company hot off his most recent years in New Japan, everyone was expecting the paradigm to be shifted, and for Strong Style to be brought into WWE. Instead, Nakamura was taught to have the same match as everyone else. What made him special and otherworldly in Japan has been reduced to a cool entrance theme and goofy facial expressions.

New Japan has been more popular than ever in his absence, and now that they, alongside ROH, have sold out Madison Square Garden months in advance, they're ready for an aggressive overseas expansion. When Nakamura's contract with WWE expires in February, I'd say it's time he return home and help the company that made him become more dominant.
