The current RAW General Manager has retired on multiple occasions, but with a career full of death-defying bumps catching up on him (not to mention his recent revelation that he is without health insurance) it is increasingly unlikely that we will see the multi-time world champion and Santa enthusiast competing again any time soon.

As such, Foley's last WWE match will remain the 2012 Royal Rumble. Foley entered the match at number seven, lasting six and a half minutes before being dispatched over the top rope by Cody Rhodes. His appearance was high on comedy, vanquishing Ricardo Rodriguez before Mr. Socko came face to face with Santino Marella and the Cobra.

The WWE Hall of Famer will go down in history as one of the most important professional wrestlers of the last 30 years, an everyday man who dared to live the dream despite the odds seemingly being stacked against him. That his final match will prove to be a comedic puppet fight will bother nobody.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
