5. Scott Steiner - Asylum Match (WCW Monday Nitro 05/22/2000)

Created by Steiner, this was an earlier version of TNA's steel asylum just without the hole on top. The cage was lowered inside the ring rather than around it and the effect was basically a tiny, circle shaped cage that really didn't offer much in terms of mobility. The only way to win was to make your opponent quit.

Scott was set to face off against his brother Rick in the inaugural asylum match, however interference from Tank Abbott (aka "Tankberg") rendered the fight null and void after the latter opened the cage up with pliers.

It was a concept with a few logistical errors which sadly did nothing for any of the three people involved in its inception.
