7 Wrestling Cage Matches That Did Nothing For The Winner

This one is a bit different, as it was ruled a no contest. Essentially, a half-dozen or so x-division competitors were placed in a circular cage and the one who climbed through the top of the open hole was named the victor.

There were a few fundamental problems with this match, the main one being that despite the athleticism of the competitors, it is incredibly hard to keep your balance while scaling upside down on the top of a cage. On top of that, it's very difficult to keep the camera rolling on the action because there's so much going on at once.

The biggest issue with this particular match however, was the finish. It was supposed to be no DQ style affair, however Homicide beat down the rest of the competition with a baton, robbing the fans of what could have been an entertaining finish while also contradicting the rules of what quantifies a no DQ style match.

On the positive side, Jeff Hardy made his TNA debut, so there's one solid takeaway.
