5. Cesaro & Sheamus 'Break' The Hardyz (But Not Entirely)

Since WrestleMania, the Hardyz have seemingly been in stasis with the tag straps until WWE finally convince Anthem to relinquish the 'Broken' trademark. However, resolution doesn't seem any closer, and as much as fans might want to see the North Carolinian brothers resume their popular TNA gimmicks, you can hardly blame Impact officials for holding out for the best deal.

WWE are likely growing impatient with the ongoing legal wranglings, and as much as its frequently evident they give fewer hoots than a shy owl about their tag scene, are probably becoming a bit concerned at the holding pattern the red belts find themselves in. The promotion have never been shy of shaking things up at random to spark fresh interest, and with Cesaro and Sheamus having recently turned full-on nasty, it could be the right time to transfer the gold (or, in actuality, a sort of chrome alloy) to the Europeans.

There'll be some obvious questions about the future of the belts - a returning Revival aren't ideal opponents for a set of heel champs - but at least they'll have a future. At the moment, the titles are stuck in time.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
