4. Sasha Slumps In The Sump

Asuka has arguably, no, unquestionably, been the star of WWE's otherwise awful Empty Arena Era, a status which meant there was no better candidate to inherit Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship without lifting a finger. However, she's somewhat secondary in her own Extreme Rules title match, where once more, the undertones involve Sasha Banks and Bayley's inevitable split ahead of a proposed feud for a third straight SummerSlam.

The best thing about this match is that neither woman needs to lose an eye, it isn't in a swamp, and Dolph Ziggler isn't involved. Though the outcome isn't in too much question - WWE might be tempted to double up their women's tag champs ahead of a match, but it would leave Shayna Baszler with nowhere to go - that shouldn't stop this being the bout of the night. Amidst a quagmire of crap, it's more or less demanded.

Prediction: Asuka

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
