7 WWE Extreme Rules Spoilers We Already Know

1. Seth Rollins Will Still Be WWE Champion

There's an ominous shadow looming down the road for the current WWE Champion Seth Rollins as he is set to defend the gold against Randy Orton in a Steel Cage match. That's Brock Lesnar. With Lesnar out of action for the next several months due to a suspension that is a way to keep him out until a return around SummerSlam, Rollins will have to find ways to retain the title until then. It would be foolish of WWE to take the title off Rollins before that big match at SummerSlam because he's the top heel in the company, Lesnar is a face and it's a no brainer that WWE would want to do that match. Not only that, but a one month title reign by Rollins would kill his credibility in a major way. Randy Orton is popular with the fans and the face turn has gone well for him, but it's not like he needs to be WWE Champion. Rollins needs it a lot more because it is going a long way to establish him as a top guy in WWE. Beating Orton would mean a lot for Rollins. Rollins likely will retain the WWE Title under shady circumstances. As previously mentioned, Rollins vs. Orton vs. Reigns is the rumored main event of Payback next month. That means that while Rollins retaining is a lock, it's not like this feud is going to be over here. They have to do something that makes Orton deserve another shot. Even in a Steel Cage match, they can give Rollins a cheap win. At the end of the night, Rollins will still be WWE Champion. That's a spoiler that feels like a sure thing.
