7 WWE Facts And Stats For This Week's Raw (Aug 4 2014)
4. Diego's Winning Streak!
Nobody will accuse Los Matadores member Diego of threatening any main event spots, but he's still having the best singles run of his career, and doing it well under the radar. Last week, Diego picked up his first singles victory on Raw in six years, when he portrayed the "Primo Colon" character and defeated Charlie Haas in his WWE TV debut. This week, he defeated Fandango for the third time in a week on television, and gave Diego his first three-match TV winning streak in his singles career in WWE. It was also the first time Diego has ever won singles matches on back-to-back Monday Night Raw episodes. Six years is quite the gap for singles wins, but Diego has always had his tag team career to fall back on. With Fernando supposedly close to an in-ring return, we may not see Diego in any WWE World Heavyweight Title matches any time soon, but it's safe to say he's hoping it won't be another six years between singles wins on the WWE's flagship program.
