7 WWE Fake Accents That Are Miserably Poor

4. Scott Hall (Razor Ramon)

According to Scott Hall, his WWE debut character was almost very different from the Razor Ramon that we all came to know and love in the ‘90s. The story goes that Vince wanted to make Hall a soldier, and that was the plan until Hall himself suggested the Scarface inspired “Bad Guy”. His over-exaggerated take on Al Pacino's Tony Montana was too much for Vince McMahon to pass up, and Razor Ramon was born.

Everything about Razor dripped cool: The cars, the ladies, the toothpick, the gold chains and an accent that sounded a lot like Hall had to chew every word a little bit before it dripped out of his mouth. In Razor’s case, the absurdity of the accent was part of what made the character appealing. Razor Ramon, like the character he was based on, was all about excess. The over-pronounced voice just sealed the deal.

Bizarrely, Hall kept a version of the accent when he and Kevin Nash jumped ship to WCW for what would eventually become the nWo. It came and went, over time, but Scott Hall will always be associated with that voice.
