7 WWE Hell In A Cell 2020 Impulse Reactions

2. Bobby Lashley Vs Slapjack

The Retribution burial tour from Monday Night Raw made its pay-per-view debut at Hell In A Cell thanks to Bobby Lashley's destruction derby job on poor old Slapjack.

A nothing match given set dressing in the form of Lashley's United States title being up for grabs, the latest laugh-along was put to bed after less than four minutes with the Hurt Locker, before MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander joined the Champion in chasing off the group before any sort of post-match fracas could even occur.

The group weren't ever particularly good when they were chucking chainsaws and molotov cocktails at company equipment, but the speed and method in which they've been rendered goons is quite remarkable. After getting crushed by The Hurt Business on Monday then sent packing by The Fiend afterwards, it's hard to see how they can be recovered.

Is that the point? Or is it rank ineptitude? Or is it both?

It's WWE. It's probably neither. No wonder the feckless idiots want to tear the whole place down.
