7 WWE Predictions For The Rest Of 2014

5. Chris Jericho Will Come Back

If there's anything that wrestling fans have learned about Chris Jericho over the years is that he's always very calculating in terms of when he returns to the ring. Later this year, Jericho is going to turn 44 years old. While he's never been an injury prone wrestler or a guy that looks like he has slowed down in the ring, it's a reality that "Father Time" catches up with everybody in life. With that in mind, there's definitely a spot for Jericho in WWE these days as a veteran performer that can work as either a heel or face while putting over some of the younger talent on the roster. It's kind of like what Rob Van Dam is doing right now except Jericho's a much better all around performer that can actually deliver promos and elevates people that he's in the ring. Sorry RVD, but it's true. Since Jericho left last year, a lot of things in WWE have changed. There are plenty of guys he can have fresh feuds with like Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and a proper feud with his old NXT protégé Bad News Barrett would be a lot of fun too. Jericho's summer schedule is likely going to be busy with shows that he has planned with his rock band Fozzy, but towards the end of the year I can see him coming back "home" to WWE and working with them through WrestleMania season again.
