7 WWE Raw Returns That Happened Last Night

3. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was the lone voice of reason on last week's edition of SmackDown Live!, chastising Shane for leading his unprovoked assault on the Raw locker room to kick off hostilities ahead of November's Survivor Series.

It was great scripting. Unlike virtually every other performer on television last week, he was sane, credible and intelligent. Apparently it only took him one trip to Raw to render him brainless, battered and beyond comprehension.

Rocking up unannounced ostensibly to make a modicum of peace with Kurt Angle, Bryan found himself locked in the Olympian's office for 'his own safety', but the blue brand's GM fell foul of an old friend after the room was plunged into darkness.

With only rotten acting to guide the viewer, Bryan was apparently chokeslammed through the desk by former partner Kane after the 'Big Red Monster' caused the distracting power outage. Poor Daniel was merely the wrong man in the wrong place at the wrong time. As viewers, we've sadly got another month of this entire wrongc*cked ordeal.
