The skinning the cat spot used to be reserved for the very best wrestlers in the business, so that commentators could in turn wax lyrical about their seemingly unrivaled athletic prowess. These days, though, almost everyone is at it, and the second you see someone latch onto the top rope as they're tossed out of the ring, you can be pretty sure that they will attempt their own version.

To be fair, it most certainly is a feat of athleticism of which most of the bigger wrestlers probably aren't capable, and while it can be a little predictable, it does occasionally give us a moment of tension - particularly when the wrestlers' feet swing ominously close to the lava floor beneath.
