7 WWE Stars Who Can Never Be Babyface Again

3. Charlotte Flair

By her own admission, Charlotte Flair is much stronger as a heel. She's said as much in interviews, even noting that her silver spoon upbringing makes it hard for people to relate with her lifestyle. That shows a degree of self-awareness, and WWE should start displaying the same awareness for her character.

As Flair said, playing wrestling's female role model doesn't suit the way she's presented. Lavish robes, charlatan smiles and an upturned nose towards anyone and everything are all key parts of her act, and they don't lend themselves to being babyface. It's weird then that WWE sporadically try to force her down fans throats as good-natured when she's anything but on screen.

It needs to stop.

Charlotte is heel by default now she's rubbishing Rhea Ripley as NXT Women's Champion, and that's where she should stay. She's so much better off as a heel; fans might cheer her from time to time, like they did her father Ric, but that doesn't mean Flair's mannerisms have to change.
