You may be looking at this one and thinking there's no way Punk should be included on a list like this because we all know he's never drank or done drugs before. He reminds us of that all the time. However, they did use alcohol in his storyline with Chris Jericho in 2012. Jericho did a bunch of promos trying to get under Punk's skin by talking about how Punk never drank because his dad was an alcoholic. While Punk always tried to avoid the subject, they kept pushing the idea that it affected Punk in a major way. There was a segment on Raw from the night after WrestleMania 28 where Jericho dumped a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey all over Punk as a way to humiliate him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2-qtNA_-ac Later in the storyline leading up to their rematch at Extreme Rules 2012, they showed Punk with a bottle of booze and then had him do a field sobriety test in the ring on Raw. He was obviously faking it from the moment it started. Everybody could tell except Jericho because apparently he became a dumb heel at that moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsYp9DKDdsU The whole thing was pretty silly, but they did portray Punk as an alcoholic at least as a joke in the storyline. They went with the alcohol angle as a way to advance the storyline.
