At first glance of Booker T's name on this list, the casual WWE fan may think that his lone SummerSlam main event coming during the days of King Bookah.

After all, this period from 2006 to 2007 was the closest Booker came to being accepted as true main event talent by WWE audiences, but the truth is, Booker main-evented SummerSlam before ever winning the King Of The Ring.

In fact, Booker T closed the second biggest show of the year in the middle of the infamous Invasion angle at the 2001 SummerSlam. Booker had been brought into WWE as the WCW Champion after Vince McMahon's purchase of WCW in March 2001.

SummerSlam 2001 was the first and only time the WCW Championship main-evented a WWE pay-per-view when Booker T defended against The Rock.

In a match where the result was a foregone conclusion, The Rock wrestled away the WCW title from Booker T which marked the first time a WWE wrestler held the WCW title.

It was the death of the WCW Championship, for all intents and purposes, since Booker T had been champion since winning the title on the very last edition of WCW's Monday Nitro.
