7 WWE Wrestlers Who Deserved Better At WrestleMania 33

2. The RAW Women's Division

Where to begin? WWE may take pleasure in 'swerving' smart fans and avoiding the obvious, but sometimes a moment presents itself that is just too perfect to ignore. Bayley winning the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 33 and ending Charlotte Flair's pay-per-view win streak in the process was one such moment.

For reasons that will probably forever go unexplained, WWE jumped the gun and decided to have Bayley win the title on RAW in February. She then successfully defend it against Charlotte at Fastlane. Due to the controversial nature of that retention, the championship match at WrestleMania 33 will be a triple threat that also includes Sasha Banks.

How has WWE managed to botch this division so badly over the last nine months? Bayley, Charlotte, and Sasha have been at the forefront of a legitimate revolution in professional wrestling, but the newfound prominence has seen them fall prey to some of the most nonsensical WWE booking in recent memory.

All three deserve better at the 'Show of Shows' (especially when one considers the show-stealing three way from one year ago) but WWE has made such a hash of the division since the draft that the RAW Women's Championship match feels largely like a non-event.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
