8 Actors You Didn't Know Were Wrestlers

1. Tyler Mane

Sabretooth X-men

In some distant, parallel universe, Kevin Nash ditched his moribund WCW persona Vinnie Vegas for the bright lights of Hollywood, whilst his partner Tyler 'Big Sky' Mane became Shawn Michael's security detail, nabbed the WWE title, and latterly got confused at how to send an SMS.

Back on Planet Tedious, it was Big Sexy, not Big Sky who bored us all for a year as Diesel, leaving his poor partner up in the air in Georgia without a plan. Years later, the jilted giant would gain his revenge. In 2000, a scheduling conflict meant genetic freak Kev missed a casting call for a lucrative role playing another in X-Men, allowing Mane to swoop in and take the plum part of Sabretooth. Since then, he's forged a relatively successful career on the silver screen, and it's pretty easy to forget he ever stepped between the ropes. Though that'd apply even if he hadn't headed for Hollywood.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
