8 AEW Double Or Nothing Impulse Reactions

3. The Young Bucks Vs. The Lucha Bros

The best match of the night saw the return of the world's best tag team after an unwelcome absence to get All Elite Wrestling off the ground. The fact they got to ply their trade against genuine contenders for that title only sweetened the deal - and AEW should make sure to confirm Lucha Brothers as their own as soon as possible.

A cocaine spectacle even better than the super-speed main event that concluded just before ALL IN raced off the air last September, Matt and Nick surprisingly retained their AAA World Tag Team Championships in a doubles duel for the ages that refused to take a rest from the danger and devastation Penta El 0M and Rey Fenix have become associated with.

Ring rust was the loose semblance of a theme early doors thanks to The Young Bucks' recent break, but the neck bumps and superkicks late on made it seem as if all four had been fighting each other all year.

It was Matt and Nick's night in every sense, but - and in polar opposition to how WWE has booked for the better part of a decade - a rematch would be ideal if the organisation don't yet want to elevate other acts to the top of the doubles division.
